Bishop Dr Godspower Emgboukuro Adaka was born on 10th November 1956 at Akugbene Town in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State of Nigeria, West Africa. He is an Ijaw by Tribe (a riverine tribal group in Nigeria).
He is married to “Elect Lady” Jane Madu Adaka, blessed with three girls.
He attended All Nations For Christ Bible Institute Int’l, Benin-City, founded by Arcbishop Benson A.Idahosa, from 1994 to 1998 and obtained Diploma and Associate of Arts Degree in Bible and Ministry.
He was awarded an Honorary Degree in Divinity by Grace Christian University, U.S.A. in 2002; Honorary Degree in Divinity by Northwestern Theological Seminary, U.S.A in 2010 and Honorary Degree in Biblical Psychology by Dayspring Christian University, U.S.A. in 2010.
Bishop Dr Godspower E.Adaka founded the “COVENANT OF GRACE BIBLE CHURCH INT’L INC”. on 22nd October 1995. The Church has planted branch churches in some Towns and Rural/Riverine Communities in Nigeria.
He was ordained Reverend (Pastor) alongside with his wife by Archbishop Benson A.Idahosa, founder of “CHURCH OF GOD MISSION INC”, Benin-City, Nigeria, on 9th November 1997.
He was consecrated Bishop of his Church on 18th November 2006, presided by Bishop Herman Bouwer the then Region 11 Bishop of United Christian Faith Ministries U.S.A, delegated by the Leadership of UCFM, assisted by some Nigerian Bishops.
Bishop Dr Godspower E.Adaka was brought into Apostolic Succession order of St. Peter by laying of hands by Archbishop Henry W. Roberts 11, the founder of Word of Life Community Church, and International Fellowship of Independent Interdenominational Christian Churches and Ministries, Chicksaw, Alabama, U.S.A. in 2010. He was appointed as the Africa Continental Bishop of IFIICCM by the Archbishop.Overseeing Ministers of the Fellowship in Africa.
Bishop Adaka was appointed as the Africa Regional Overseer of Global Church Fellowship International, with Headquarters in Fort Myers, Florida U.S.A.by the founder, Bishop Gaspar Anastasi. He Oversees the Network/Fellowship’s Chapters in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, Togo, Cote De Ivoire, Uganda, Liberia, Rwanda, Burundi, South Africa, Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania, Congo, Benin Republic(Cotonu) etc.
Bishop Dr Godspower E.Adaka is called, commissioned and mandated by God to take the Gospel to the Nations of the earth. As a dynamic preacher, Pastor and Teacher of the Word, his Ministry has imparted several Nations in Africa, Europe, U.K., Asia and the U.S.A. through crusades, conferences, Revivals, Pastors and Leaders meetings and conferences. He has traveled widely.
Bishop Adaka has a burning passion to see souls saved, leaders trained, equipped and motivated to be more effective in the Kingdom of God. He has pioneered Churches in the cities and also presides over several churches in Rural Communities, doing Rural Evangelization and Development works/Ministries.
Bishop Dr Godspower E.Adaka is also the Founder and presiding Bishop of “ANOINTED BISHOPS INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP” and “IJAW (IZON ) PENTECOSTAL BISHOPS ASSEMBLY”. Both Fellowships serves as College of Bishops, consecrating and gathering Bishops for the Kingdom work.
