Bishop Godspower Emgboukuro Adaka was
born on 10th November 1956 in Akugbene, Bomadi Local Government
Area of Delta State of Nigeria, to a pagan family. He is an Ijaw by tribe (
a riverine tribal group in Nigeria).He is married to Rev(Mrs.)Jane M. Adaka,
blessed with 3 girls.
He attended All Nations for Christ Bible
Institute, Benin-City, Founded by Arch-Bishop Benson A. Idahosa.
From 1994 to 1998 and obtained Diploma and Associate of Arts Degree in Bible
and Ministry. He obtained other higher Degrees in Ministry through distant
learning programs. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in 2002 by
Grace Christian University, U.S.A.
Bishop Adaka founded the COVENANT OF
GRACE BIBLE CHURCH INT. INC. on 22nd Oct. 1995. The Church has
planted branch churches in some Riverine/Rural Communities in Nigeria.He was ordained alongside with his wife
by Arch-Bishop Benson A. Idahosa, founder of Church of God Mission, on 9th November 1997.
He is the President of RIVERINE GOSPEL
PREACHERS ASSOCIATION. He is a member of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. Bishop Adaka was consecrated Bishop of
his Church on 18th November 2006,presided by Bishop Herman Bouwer
who was delegated by UCFM leadership, assisted by other Nigerian Bishops.
Bishop Godspower E.Adaka has traveled to
UK, Dubai, Kenya, South Africa, Ethiopia and Netherland and U.S.A. for Ministry purposes.
HIS Vision is to take the gospel to the
entire universe starting from his Jerusalem.
